Each completed task on 143 makes it look more like a 1924 period Standard car and it is hoped that the lower saloon will be ready to deliver to Blackpool Transport by the end of January. The end dash panels have now arrived but await fitting, the staircases are both in place (the one nearest the camera in the photo being built from scratch) and the interior is essentially complete.Rewiring of the tram is in hand and all 550v dc cables are required to be in place before it returns to Rigby Road depot.
